"Working at Aldersgate, along side a supportive and amazing staff has been such a wonderful and humbling experience. Whenever I'm at camp I feel a special connection with everyone around and wish the day's fun would never have to come to an end. I've learned so much from all of the unique, funny and talented campers that choose Aldersgate to be a part of their summer. I am so excited to be returning this coming summer to create even more wonderful friendships and memories at Aldersgate!" - Shayna, Senior Staff 2011 & 2012
_"Having fun, learning, and growing isn't just for the kids! The
invaluable experience I had as a counselor has crafted who I am today
and prepared me for my future. I'd do it again if I had the
chance!" - Nathan, Senior Staff 2010
"Working at Camp Aldersgate over two summers was an unforgettable experience that changed me for life! I got to meet and make friends with people from all over the world. From an international staff perspective, it was great to live and work in a different culture. It was very rewarding to lead so many great kids in different activities as well as on their spiritual journeys." - Ben, International Staff member from the UK, Senior Staff 2008 & 2009

Counselor in Training
(Must be at least 16 years old and/or completed the 10th grade)
Those interested in being CITs must:
* apply for the Leadership Camp program
* attend and complete the Leadership Camp successfully
* return to camp for 2 weeks as a volunteer during the summer
The CIT program is very experiential. While serving as a CIT volunteer, the counselors in training work closely with senior staff members to intentionally gain leadership experience. The CIT program is a great way to prepare for future summers on staff at Aldersgate.
The CIT program is required for Junior Staff members. It is not a requirement for senior staff to be prior CITs; however, it is a natural first step for many of our senior staff.
