Camper’s Choice Specialty Areas: (☺ Signifies an available option)

Specialty Descriptions:

Campers Choice Sports (E/J/S) – This camp is for the camper who loves to spend his or her day being ACTIVE and having FUN!  Explore what it means to be a Christian athlete as we play all kinds of sports. Campers will vote on their choices and be able to participate in a wide variety of sports from ultimate Frisbee to football and a lot in between.   Campers may even have the opportunity to create their own games, and try them out.

Water Adventure (E/J/S) -  Ahoy! Come along for an adventure on the great waves of Lake Aldersgate!  Join us for a week filled with water games, sailing, canoeing, water Olympics, swimming & much more!

Cooking (E/J/S) – Join us for a culinary adventure!  Frost a cake, make a meal, learn to plan fun meals that are good! 

Fishing(E/J/S)  – learn more about the great world of fishing-baiting, casting, & removing the fish.  Girls & boys will discover where & when to fish as well as the importance of water safety!

Wacky Arts (E/J) – Spend the week creating one-of-a-kind art projects.  One day we may take a hike and collect things to use in our art & the next day we may use cool science techniques to create something wacky!  You never know what the day may bring at camp!

Mystery Trekkers (E) - Can you figure it out? What’s that?  Who did it? Where are we going?  Become a detective & discover camp while having fun with your friends. Each day campers will set out on a trek in camp & discover clues to help them solve a weeklong mystery.

Soccer (E/J) –  During the week you will have lots of opportunities to gain new soccer skills or improve on the skills that you already have.  This week of soccer will include skills & drills, as well as plenty of game time.  Also, spend some time participating in some friendly competitions with fellow campers. 

International Friends Club (E/J)   - Come and spend time with our international staff all week learning about their home countries.  Learn some songs & words and even make some food from a different country each day!  It’s your passport to fun!

Counselors Choice (E/J/S) - Are you ready for a surprising week?  Most of our staff are hired after our brochure is printed…so this is our way of letting our great & creative summer staff choose cool activities for you! Sign up for this week and you’ll be amazed at what our staff can do!

Basketball (J/S) – During the week you will have lots of opportunities to gain new basketball skills or improve on the skills that you already have.  This week of basketball will include skills and drills, as well as plenty of game time.  Also, spend some time participating in some friendly competitions with fellow campers.

Survivor Challenge (J/S) – Surrounded by the wilderness you’ll experience the ultimate outdoor adventure.  Come and learn some cool new skills for wilderness survival.  Join us for a week of hiking, fire building, shelter building, and even some of the ropes course.  During this week you will work together with your fellow campers to learn different ways of how you can survive out in nature.

Swinging in Trees (S) – Come & conquer our new low & high ropes course.  Can you climb the 20’ high cargo net, save your cabin mates from the peanut butter river, or figure out how to get your whole group safely off the island?

Creative Arts (S) – Spend the week creating your own unique art projects.  You will also spend time with the entire group working on one major project together!
 

Early Explorers:  1st-3rd grade (EE)
Elementary Adventure: 3rd-5th grade (El)
Adventure:  6th -8th grade (JH)
Expedition:  9-12th grade (SH)

ELEM. ADVENTURE – learn about setting up your own  campsite, building the perfect campfire, & many other beginning outdoor living skills. El

ADVENTURE CAMP – a week of tenting, cooking, and sharpening camping skills as we enjoy the great outdoors.  Stretch yourself physically, emotionally, and spiritually.  Includes ropes course, group challenges, and other activities.  Jr. High

EXPEDITION – the next step after Adventure Camp.  Stay in the great outdoors while pushing your physical limits each day.  Explore the high ropes on camp.  Day trips will include hiking, rock climbing, etc.  Fee covers all trips. Sr. High

FAMILY CAMP is a great chance to spend time together as a family while enjoying all camp has to offer.  Campfires, swimming, crafts, & fun!  Cost is $200 for the cabin, and $95 per person for food service.  Children 3 & under are free.

YOU & ME - Kids, grab an adult & bring them to camp!  Invite a parent, grandparent, godparent, relative or friend to come & enjoy camp with you.  Spend either a half or full week having fun together participating in swimming, canoeing, crafts, campfires, singing & other exciting activities that camp has to offer.  Half week for 1 adult 1 child is $190.  Full week is $320.  Additional adult/child is $35 for half or $75 full week.

GRANDPARENT & ME – Spend quality time this summer together with your grandparent(s).   Your grandparent(s) can share their camping experiences with you, and you can both create new ones together in this half-week program.  Grandparent & Me is $190 for one adult and one child.  Each additional grandparent or child is $35.

SINGLE PARENT WEEKEND – Single parents/guardians, bring your children for a great weekend of fun.  Spend time together while swimming, canoeing, taking nature walks, & making crafts.  Meet other single parents while your kids make new friends.  Cost is $130 for one adult & one child, & each additional child is only $25.

SPECIAL NEEDS – Come for a week of fun, friendship, and caring. Open to mentally disabled persons age 21 and older who have self-help skills. Participants accepted based on required skills and abilities. You will participate in camp programs including swimming, boating, nature hikes, crafts, games, campfires, singing, & special events. $335
