Camp Aldersgate could not exist without its
volunteers! Every year, over 100 individuals come to Camp Aldersgate to
counsel a group of campers, lead a program or teach a craft.Visit our Volunteers page for more information.
Residential Camps are overnight camps for campers of all different ages. Our summer camp schedule includes:
Early Elementary Programs - ages 7 & 8 Elementary Camps - completed grades 3-5 Junior High Camps - completed grades 6-8 Senior High Camps - completed grades 9-12

TEDDY BEARS – Come for a half week or full week of camp where you can bring your own teddy bear or make one here! Designed for 7 and 8 year olds, Teddy Bear campers will stay in main camp and sample a bit of everything that camp has to offer. $150 half week $300 full week.
EARLY EXPLORERS – Spend a full week at Aldersgate. Campers 7 and 8 years old will stay in the Native American Village and explore all of the great adventures of camping. $300
NATIVE AMERICAN CAMP — A camp designed to expose youth to the culture of Northern Woodland people. Patricia Parent, Native American descendant and trained educator, musician, writer and storyteller and her husband Rev. Peter Parent, a skilled beader, will head up this camp, where youth will be introduced to history, food, stories, crafts, music and language of Native people right around them. During the week, the Parents will be joined by others who will help campers experience native life. For youth in 5th & 6th grade. $300
LIVING ARTS CAMP – spend the week painting, dancing, performing, crafting, & making music – all talents that God has blessed you with! We will end the week with a performance for parents and campers. $315
INTERNATIONAL CAMP — Hola! Bonjour, Hallo, Ciao, How many different languages can you say hello in? Learn all about the different countries that our summer staff members have traveled here from. Spend some time learning a few new words, or help cook a popular food from a different country. $300
WATER ADVENTURE Ahoy! Come along for an adventure on the great waves of Lake Aldersgate! Join us for a week filled with water games, sailing, canoeing, water Olympics, swimming and much more! $300
HORSE CAMP – Have fun learning about horses and everything else camp has to offer! Horse riders attend stables each day. $350
CLASSIC CAMP – Make new friends, have campfires, go swimming, do cookouts, play all camp games, & much more! Can’t decide which program to choose? Try this one for a taste of them all! $300
FINDERS SLEEPERS – Guess where you are sleeping tonight! Figure out where you will sleep using clues as you move through the woods & fields. $300
ADVENTURE - Come this week to learn about setting up your own campsite, building the perfect campfire, & many other beginning outdoor living skills. Besides new skills, you will have the chance to swim, explore the trails, get involved on the low ropes course, and make new friends. $300
GALS & PALS - like a weeklong slumber party! Leave your brothers at home and make new friends. Challenge yourself on the ropes course, enjoy arts & crafts, and canoe and swim beautiful Aldersgate Lake. All the while you will enjoy the company of girls to grow in stewardship and faith. $300
ELEMENTARY FISHING – Campers who love to fish (or who want to learn) will learn more about the great world of fishing – baiting the hook, casting, and removing the fish. Girls and boys will discover where and when to fish as well as the importance of water safety, along with Christian stewardship of natural resources. $300
SHOOT FOR THE STARS – Come spend days building and flying your own rockets, and nights learning about the stars while looking through telescopes. $300
COOKING CAMP - Come & join us for your culinary adventure! Frost a cake, make a meal, learn to plan fun meals that are good for you! $300
SPORTS CAMP – Explore what it means to be a Christian athlete as we play all kinds of sports. Campers will vote on their choices and be able to enjoy the traditional camp activities. $300

NIGHT CAMP – Stay up late as we hoot with the owls at night! Go to sleep later every night as we go for the all-nighter and then reverse the process. $300
CABIN CAMP – Campers grades 5 through 7 will stay in cabins while sampling a bit of everything camp has to offer. $300
COOKING CAMP — Come & join us for your culinary adventure! Frost a cake, make a meal, learn to plan meals to cook at home! $300
JUNIOR/SENIOR HORSE RIDING – features Western -style horseback riding lessons. Daily trips to the stable include basic horse care followed by trail riding. All of the traditional camp fun will round out the week. $350
BASKETBALL CAMP – will help girls and boys learn plays, improve skills, and play hoops. Complete your week with fun camp activities! $300
ADVENTURE CAMP – a week of tenting, cooking, and sharpening camping skills as we enjoy the great outdoors. Stretch yourself physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Includes ropes course, group challenges, and other activities. $300
SPORTS CAMP – Explore what it means to be a Christian athlete as we play all kinds of sports. Campers will vote on their choices and be able to enjoy the traditional camp activities. $300
CLASSIC CAMP – Make new friends, have campfires, go swimming, do cookouts, play all camp games, & much more! Always wanted to come to Aldersgate but didn’t know which camp to attend, this is the program for you! $300
FRESHWATER FISHING – Campers who love to fish (or who want to learn) will learn more about the great world of fishing – baiting the hook, casting, and removing the fish. UNPLUGGED – Jam with the band! Bring your instruments – traditional, unique, or make your own! Play long and loud. Perform for the campers. Then take a dip or canoe ride along with other camp activities. $300
SHOOT FOR THE STARS – Come and spend the days building and flying your own rockets, and the nights learning about the stars while looking through telescopes. $300
CAMPERS’ CHOICE – The schedule is wide open when you get to camp, you and your fellow campers will be able to decide the camp activities for the week. Enjoy freedom and fun! $300
LEADERSHIP – Are you a leader? God has given you some amazing gifts, at camp we will help you recognize those gifts and how you can use them as a leader at church, school, & camp. Must be 16 or have completed 10th grade . $300
LIVING ARTS – spend the week painting, dancing, performing, crafting, & making music – all talents that God has blessed you with! We’ll end the week performing for parents and campers. $315
VACATION CAMP – let’s hit the beach, visit an amusement park, travel to a local major city, catch a movie, or another fun activity. Spend some time with your friends while exploring Christian values & faith. Please bring an additional $100 spending money for trips. $325
EXPEDITION – the next step after Adventure Camp. Stay in the great outdoors while pushing your physical limits during the day. Explore the high ropes on camp. Day trips will include hiking, rock climbing, etc. Please bring an additional $50 with you to cover special trips during the week. $300
MISSION CAMP – Work alongside your friends making the world a better place! Make new friends, serve with other youth from all over New England & the U.S. We will be doing projects in Rhode Island as well as some at camp. Evening programs will include concerts, fun, & all camp games! Register as a youth group, or as an individual. Cost includes supplies, food, housing, & transportation. $385 (call for group rates)

FAMILY CAMP is a great chance to spend time together as a family while enjoying all camp has to offer. Family Camp is $175 per week for the cabin, and $95 per week per person for food service. Children 3 and under receive half-price food.
SINGLE PARENT WEEKEND – Single parents/guardians, bring your children for a great weekend of fun. Spend time together with your kids while swimming, canoeing, taking nature walks, & making crafts. Meet other single parents while your kids make new friends. Cost is $120 for one adult and one child, and each additional child is only $25.
GRANDPARENT & ME – Spend quality time this summer together with your grandparent(s). Your grandparent(s) can share their camping experiences with you, and you can both create new ones together in this half-week program. Grandparent & Me is $180 for one adult and one child. Each additional grandparent or child is $25.
YOU & ME - Kids, grab an adult and bring them to camp! Invite a parent, grandparent, godparent, relative or friend to come and enjoy camp with you. Spend either a half week or full week having fun together participating in swimming, canoeing, crafts, games, campfires, singing and other exciting activities that camp has to offer. Half week for one adult one child is $180. Full week is $300. Each additional grandparent or child is $25 for half or $50 full week.
SPECIAL NEEDS – Come for a week of fun, friendship, and caring. Open to mentally disabled persons age 21 and older who have self-help skills. Participants accepted based on required skills and abilities. You will participate in camp programs including swimming, boating, nature hikes, crafts, games, campfires, singing, & special events. $315
